Chief Warrant Officer 2(R) Mark A. Read, 42, of Red Springs, NC, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. He retired honorably from the U.S. Army 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) having served his country for 22 years. CW2(R) Mark A. Read is the son of Edgar and Linda Read.
He is survived by his wife, Rocio (Ricki), daughter, Randi, son, Zeth, brother, Phil, and sisters, Carolina and Rebecca.
CW2(R) Mark A. Read’s Life Celebration were held in the Special Forces Association, Fayetteville, NC 28306, Saturday, April 26, 2014.
CW2 Read was a husband, father, son, warrior and servant.
