SPC Jonathan C. Schwall of Slidell, LA died Monday, December 19, 2005, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the beloved husband of Rebekkah Kinney Schwall, and son-in-law of Walter and Miran Kinney. SPC Schwall was 22 years old and a native of Tacoma, Washington. SPC Schwall served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Jonathan was a loving and kind husband and a wonderful son -in-law…He and my daughter were married less than 3 years when he died…He and my daughter had been making plans to purchase a home and start a family when his National Guard unit was shipped out thus putting everything on hold….Jonathan was 22 years old when he was taken away by the good Lord…He was in the process of going to college when called to duty …He wanted to become a police officer and help his community.
